ABC Letter Crackers at IKEA!

I came across these crackers/cookies/biscuits at IKEA that are shaped like the letters of the alphabet {Don’t mind if I do!} and bought a box. They are called KEX Biscuits and although the box suggests that it only contains the letters I-K-E-A, I found that they actually contain all the letters!

I thought these would be great for small group intervention and could be used to practice CVC words including nonsense words and phonics manipulation, sequencing the alphabet, etc. The possibilities are endless.

And they can serve as reinforcer since they can be eaten after the word work! {They are not bad!} The only downside is that they only contain capital letters. The good news is they are only $2.29 a box. If you don’t live near an IKEA, I think I saw them on Amazon. 🙂

Happy February and Super Bowl Sunday!

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;  if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach.”

(Romans 12:6-7)
