I am really feeling my classroom so far this year. I spend so much time in there that I want it to feel nice and homey. I also want my kids to like it and want to be there! I thought I would share some pics, so I made a college.
The top 3 pics are bulletin boards in my room. Calendar, Wild about Fluency, and then the ABC center alphabet banner. I am going to put fluency goal numbers on the zebra bulletin board and then put students name under their goals as they reach them. The alphabet banner I found on Teachers pay Teachers for free! Love it. I hung it with clothespins on silver elastic string. The tins in the middle I found at the One Spot at Target. They have little chalkboard labels on them. I filled a vase with colorful plastic letters and tied a purple bow on it for decoration on a table in my classroom. I saw it on Pinterest a couple years ago. Lots of goodies are from Crayons to Computers including the “C” décor on my desk, all the felt I used for bulletin board backdrop, and some of the picture frames. I have several pictures of my little boy. I can’t get enough of his sweet face. I tell my students all about him too so it gives them a face to go with the name. 🙂 I also got 2 packs of wallpaper samples at Crayons to Computers, which I am loving. I used them to make the leaves on the “apple tree” at the bottom, and for background paper for some other projects. I use the cart of drawers for students’ materials. Works really well for me as an Intervention Specialist. I can put students’ individualized work and activities in their drawer, and keep their finished products in there as well. My word wall is the “technology themed” one I made and it’s available in my TpT store for $2.00. The “Masterpieces” heading at the bottom is where I put all the artwork and notes my students give me. ❤ I hope you like it!
My school year has started of great and I feel so blessed.
